SRTM will host its 2012 club speech contest on February 15th.
The winner will earn the opportunity to represent SRTM at the Area Speech Contest.
Come and enjoy this fun and challenging event!
SRTM will be holding it’s first membership induction of 2012 next month. If you are a guest interested in joining the club, you still have time to fulfill the requirements. Membership at SRTM requires fulfilling three guest meeting roles and giving your icebreaker speech; signup for roles at the website or talk to someone in our Education committee.
Dear SRTM Members, Guest and website visitors,
Our club always grows and everything should grow with it. You can therefore find a few new features on the website. Here is quick list:
- The Home Page has been cleaned up to leave space for current information,
- Therefore, there is a new menu item at the top of the page with the section About SRTM,
- Which includes two new subsections, SRTM Map with clear information onhow to find us, SRTM Calendar with information about upcoming events at SRTM.
The officer team is trying hard to bring you always something new and educational. In that sense, this last feature is my favorite and it allows you to be kept up to date with what is happening at SRTM, giving you the opportunity to sign-up for roles and speeches while knowing how great will be the meeting in which you’ll take part. You will also be able to see the social events with clickable links which will drive you straight to the event web page.
More things to come soon, stay tuned and come and visit often.

- Preparation (join)
- Skills (interjections)
- Soft skills (wants to refine…)
- Fear (eliminate it)
