Become a Member of SRTM

The above process illustrates a general overview of how to become a member of SRTM.   First register you information using our online registration form.  The form can be found here.  There are also certain criteria which you must satisfy in order to be nominated as member of SRTM.

The criteria to be nominated as a potential member of SRTM is listed below.  These criteria must be satisfied within a single term or 6 months. 

1. You must complete 4 roles including your ICE BREAKER speech.
2. You must choose 3 roles from the following choices: Joke Master, Word & Quote Master, Ah Counter, Timer, Grammarian or Table Topics Speaker.  More information on these roles can be found here.
3. Your participation rate must be at least 30% during the 6 month term
4. You must attend the Membership Induction ceremony.

Eligibility for membership at SRTM is hard but it comes with a lot of benefits.

• You will be automatically subsribed to the official Toastmasters International magazine, Toastmasters
• As a member you will have priority over guests for taking roles at meetings.
• You will be eligible to start using official Toastmasters International educational material such as the Competent Communicator and Competent Leadership manuals
• You will have voting rights as a members
• You will be eligible to serve as an officer of SRTM
