SRTM 10th Anniversary Gala was a huge success with around 45 people attending the event!
The wine was flowing and the people were mingling. Guests with members. Current members with past members. It was a great night full of congratulatory messages from past officers, a congratulatory speech by the President, a trivia night led by Lee Farrand and loads of awards for members and guests!
On that night we honored the following people for their dedication to SRTM and the Toastmasters experience.
- Toastmaster of the Year – Jenny Vrontakis
- Most Improved Toastmaster – Minjung Ko
- Most SRTM Awards Won – Taewon Seo
- Best Participation 2009 (member, non officer) – Irving Gussow
- Best Participation 2009 (guest) – Kelly Lee
- Best Attendance 2009 (member, non officer) – Robert Cha
- Best Attendance 2009 (guest) – Jin Kang Lee
- Best Dressed Woman – Eunwoo Park
- Best Dressed Man – James Lim
Congratulations to all!
The fun continued with the 2nd round at a nearby beer hall. With 30 members strong, the bar was filled to the brim! It was also rumored there was more celebration at a 3rd round and evening singning at a 4th round!
Now it’s time to say a few thanks.
Special thanks goes to Lee Farrand for MC duties, Catherine Jung for securing the venue and getting a great deal with Amorzio, Alice Lee for taking care of the budget and prizes, Eva Lee for designing the awesome flyer and banner and Einstein Lavina for capturing the important event on camera.
